Ou Wang: Capital Market Will Become the Center of the Economic Development in China

After Researcher of China Security Regulatory Commission Ou Wang reviewed the development course of China 's capital market, he pointed that the China 's capital market has made an important contribution to economic development and would gradually become the center of the development. At present, China 's capital market has entered into a new historical period, the challenges we are facing are: some institutional, structural problems still exist and become more serious because of the rapid development. China 's capital market becomes more sensitive to the impact of macroeconomic environment and global financial market. New financial instruments and emergence of financial products make the market more complicated. To overcome these challenges, CSRC will strengthen the supervision by adjusting regulatory philosophy, method and system of supervision, by continuing to promote equity incentive system through deepening cooperate management, by further regulating the information disclosure, by strengthening the supervision of the major shareholders and the actual controller, by strengthening the supervision of the entire process of M&A , by gradually guiding institution to participate in corporate governance, and by further regulating action of agencies, so that China's capital market and listed companies could develop more healthily.
